To inspire an “entrepreneurial
mindset,” you must create a culture that embraces entrepreneurial
principles. Test where your employees are:
Scoring:
3 = Always “when needed”
2 = Mostly “when needed”
1 = Sometimes “when needed”
0 = Never “when needed”
1. _____ Employees display individual initiative.
2. _____ Employees take risks.
3. _____ Employees demonstrate creativity.
4. _____ Employees display out-of-the box thinking.
5. _____ Employees display the top-five leadership
skills that are most valued in my organization.
6. _____ Employees take “personal ownership”
of their projects.
7. _____ Employees fulfill responsibilities without
oversight or direction.
8. _____ Employees are willing to be held accountable
for their actions.
9. _____ Employees are willing to accept consequences
for their actions.
10. _____ Employees understand the relationship
between rewards or recognition and performance.
Scoring Results:
20 to 30 Your employees do an excellent job of
displaying an
“entrepreneurial mindset.”
10 to 19 Your employees do a good job of displaying
an “entrepreneurial
mindset.”
0 to 9 Your employees do a poor job of displaying
an “entrepreneurial
mindset.”
